B-BBEE Verification Analyst

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg (Office-Based)
Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 per month

Our client is seeking an experienced B-BBEE Verification Analyst to join their growing team based in Sandton. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong verification, compliance, and analytical skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and verify B-BBEE scorecard elements (excluding complex ownership structures).
  • Conduct B-BBEE verification and auditing in accordance with relevant legislation and sector codes.
  • Prepare accurate, high-quality verification files and reports.
  • Analyse financial statements and supporting documentation.
  • Finalise verification results and ensure compliance with B-BBEE requirements.
  • Respond professionally to client queries and objections.
  • Present verification findings during client meetings.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the verification process.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B-BBEE verification.
  • Management Development Programme (MDP) qualification (essential).
  • Accounting qualification will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of B-BBEE legislation and all sector codes.
  • Solid understanding of accounting systems and financial statements.
  • Verification and/or auditing experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and BEE verification tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
